DOES EUROPEAN HOMESTAY RUN COURSES FOR ADULTS AS WELL AS YOUNG LEARNERS?
Young learners tend to peak during the Summer months while the rest of the year tends to be Adult and Business Clients. We are currently expanding our business and are conducting a marketing campaign to increase our number of students both adult and young learners.
DOES EUROPEAN HOMESTAY RUN ENGLISH HOMESTAY COURSES IN COUNTRIES OTHER THAN THE UK?
Yes we cover nine European countries including Italy, Spain and France.
DO ALL EUROPEAN HOMESTAY TEACHERS HAVE A TEACHING QUALIFICATION?
EFL teachers are required to have a minimum of a CELTA or equivalent. French, Italian and Spanish Teachers are required to have teaching experience and or a teaching qualification.
ARE EUROPEAN HOMESTAY  TEACHERS GRADUATES? It is desirable, most of our teachers do but it is not essential.
DO EUROPEAN MAINLAND TEACHERS HAVE A NOT KNOWN TO THE POLICE CERTIFICATE ?
Yes
HOW MANY YEARS TEACHING EXPERIENCE DO OUR TEACHERS HAVE? A minimum
ARE OUR UK TEACHERS IN POSSESSION OF  A CURRENT CRB CERTIFICATE?
Teachers based in the UK apply through a umbrella body that we are registered with.
HOW WILL AGENTS BE PAID?
Commission can either be  paid directly when agents book the student or after booking depending on the method of payment chosen. The Agent Payment Page allows agents to take their commission immediately.
WHO WILL SUPPLY THE TEACHING  MATERIALS?
The student will be provided with a coursebook and workbook or a grammar reference book and the teacher will use their own materials as well.
DOES EUROPEAN HOMESTAY ORGANISE GROUP COURSES?
Yes not only do we organise mini group and midi group courses but we also organise packages for groups of students who would like to study in the same geographical

WILL STUDENTS BE CONSTANTLY SUPERVISED?
The teacher will  be available for the student for the duration of their stay and for them to be able to contact the teacher when they are out on outings in case of any emergency. Young learners under the age of 16 will need be accompanied at all times except for short walks around a small village.
HOW WILL THE STUDENT ARRIVE AT THE TEACHERS HOME?
The student will either be picked up from the local station or airport by the teacher or a designated driver. The transport will depend on the student’s choice or parent if the student is a minor.or.
ARE THE STUDENTS TESTED BEFORE THEY ARRIVE AT THE TEACHERS HOME?
Yes students are tested, so we they will have an idea of their level. However a complete needs analysis will be done prior to them commencing the course.
DO TEACHERS HOMES HAVE A  GAS SAFETY CERTIFICATE?
Yes all teachers have a current gas saftety certificate.
DO TEACHERS HAVE  HOUSEHOLD INSURANCE?
All teachers  have complete household insurance as students are not liable for any damages caused in your home. Teachers are advised  to take care when allowing students to use  equipment and we advise parental controls on laptops and computers particularly for young learners.  However if students willfully cause damage they will be liable.
